Civic & Community Engagement

Our Purpose

At Columbia College, we believe that meaningful change happens when education meets opportunity, and that our best work happens in partnership with our community. With this in mind, we empower our students to be the difference needed to change the world.

Columbia College students are encouraged to be active and socially responsible citizens who create positive and sustainable change by embracing their individual talents, personal passion, and the many opportunities afforded to them during their educational experience.

The Office of Civic and Community Engagement (CCE) provides guidance for extended community-based learning options through campus and community partner collaborations. Ultimately, we seek to be catalysts for civic innovation working collaboratively to build a culture of active citizenship and social responsibility within our community.
