The Division of Student Affairs is primarily housed in the TJ Harrelson Student Services Center and Student Union with Residence Life offices also in the Residence Halls. The following offices fall under the umbrella of the Division of Student Affairs:

Early Alert Statement

Columbia College seeks to support students’ academic, personal and professional goals by holding them accountable to the expectations that will allow them to succeed (i.e., class attendance, participation, completing of reading and assigned projects). In the event that a Columbia College student fails to meet the above mentioned expectations, a faculty and/or staff member may utilize our Early Alert System Via EAB Navigate to submit a report expressing the concerns they have regarding the observed behavior. Once an alert is submitted, the student will be contacted by The Office of Student Success, faculty advisor, coach, or course instructor to ensure students have knowledge of the appropriate resources, information, and support needed to aid in their success. If you receive such message, please respond promptly and respectfully.

Our Community of Honor

In our Columbia College community of honor, you have a right to...
- An environment free from bullying and harassment and a responsibility to foster this environment.
- Freedom of speech and the responsibility to not slander or gossip about other students, faculty, and staff members in our community verbally or online through Facebook, Twitter, or other social media outlets.
- Embrace your identity (culture, sexual orientation, religious and political beliefs, etc.) and a responsibility to not pressure others about their personal identity.
- Report without fear of retaliation any behavior that goes against our Honor Code, the Student Code of Conduct or any behavior that makes you uncomfortable.

Columbia College Emergency Alert

The College utilizes the RAVE Mobile Safety platform to notify the campus community of a significant emergency or dangerous situation involving an immediate threat to the health or safety of students, faculty, or staff occurring on campus or in the immediate vicinity. Messages are sent as an email and/or a text message.

Your email address has already been uploaded to the platform. If you would like to add your phone number, please follow the steps below.

Go to https://www.getrave.com/login/columbiasc
Click on “Forgot Your Password?” (If you previously registered, log in with your password and skip to Step 6 to review your phone number.)
You will be prompted to enter your RAVE username. Your username is your Columbia College email address.
You will receive an email sent to your Columbia College email address prompting you to reset your password.
After you reset your password, log in to the system using your Columbia College email as your username and the password you created.
Read Terms of Use and press submit.
Add your mobile number (You can also add 2 other phone numbers to receive text notifications. Some individuals add people such as their parent/guardian or spouse/partner. If you add someone, please make sure you have permission to do so.)

The system may also ask you if you have a preferred email; please leave that field blank. If you have any questions, please contact the Columbia College Police Department at 803-786-3343.
