Description
Through a study of diverse oral traditions, the history and politics of public education in South Carolina, and narrative inquiry and analysis, students will examine the history, significance, and methodology of recording oral histories with a particular focus on race in education across South Carolina. Students will also contribute to the archive of the CC Oral History Project by conducting interviews and recording oral histories within our communities.
