This course enhances teachers’ ability to identify and use valid, reliable formative and summative assessments to evaluate and monitor student learning, prepare teachers to create and utilize authentic, performance assessments aligned with instructional standards, and use formative assessment results to make appropriate instructional decisions to improve student learning.
