Description

The focus of this course is to develop the students’ execution and integration of somatic principles in dance. Students will explore various somatic disciplines, movement imagery, and improvisations on an intermediate level. Students will tend to their personal movement habits and functional alignment. Student’s will be assessed on the dance program’s somatic proficiencies: Experiential Anatomy Development and Applied Learning. This course may be taken four times for credit. Prerequisite of DAN 118.
