Join AMPS/Psi Chi and Phi Alpha for Clothesline Project Meeting

The Association for Mindful Psychology Students/Psi Chi and Phi Alpha will meet from 12:30-1:15 in BSC 123 to continue planning the Clothesline Project (to be held on campus from April 8-12 in the BSC lobby). Volunteers are still needed to help with the project. We will also discuss upcoming events, such as the Ice Cream Social @ Fun Day. All are welcome! Please join us!

Free Cholesterol and Glucose Screening for the Columbia College Community

The PUBH 112 Class is sponsoring a free cholesterol and glucose screening event for the Columbia College Community on March 14, 2019 8:00 am- 10:00 AM. The screening will be held in the BSC in the lobby (The Boat). This is a fasting test and requires a finger stick. The test includes HDL, LDL, Total Cholesterol, Triglyceride and Blood Glucose. Please join us and learn more about risk factors for heart disease.

First Citizen's Bank Summer Internship Program

First Citizen’s Bank has established a Summer Internship Program. The program is designed to provide an opportunity for incumbents to apply mortgage operations while delivering tangible value to our mortgage team, as well as gaining valuable work experience. Interns will gain an understanding of the Bank’s overall mortgage operations. Each intern will be engaged and exposed to various facets of the mortgage operations department during their internship experience. To enhance the retail services intern experience, each intern is assigned a manager, and an Intern Coordinator, who will help facilitate a broader view of the intern’s role within the Bank. Looking for Flash Mob Participants

Want to get away from the books during exam week? Want to have fun with your friends? Join a student run flash mob for the Columbia College's 165th Birthday Celebration on April 25! We will schedule 2-3 practices before the event on flexible times and days! We are looking for creative and enthusiastic students, faculty, staff, alumna, etc. to entertain and spread school spirit to our donors! Free Store Transformation

The Free Store will be moving locations and changing in appearance and name! Upon the completion of this beautification transformation by the Business 245 class, the Free Store will become the Koala Boutique (or The KB) and move to the Student Union. It is currently still located in the back of Daniel Hall. When the project is complete, everyone will be notified! Nothing is changing. Help needed for local after school program

If you're interested in working with kids, the Gable Oaks after school program is in need of enthusiastic volunteers Monday through Friday to help elementary kids with homework, team building, crafts, etc. A bus is available to pick you up from campus at 2:15 pm any day of the week, take you to the program site, and bring you back before 5:30 pm. 3rd Annual Religious Scholars Program

Giving the religious leaders of tomorrow a helping hand today. CM CARES believe helping today's vibrant and dedicated religious scholars will ensure strong faith-based communities of tomorrow. That's why, for the third year in a row, we're offering 50 scholarships totaling $250.000 for the 2019-20 academic year. Students of all faiths are encouraged to apply by April 15, 2019.
