Description
This course offers a foundational overview of public health systems, exploring the organization, function, and dynamics of public health practice within communities and populations. Students will gain insight into the core concepts of public health, including the principles of disease prevention, health promotion, and the Triple Aim factors. This course also includes topics, such as the structure of public health agencies at local, state, and federal levels, the role of public health officials, and the collaboration between public and community organizations. PUBH majors must pass with a grade of C or better.
