Description

This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and frameworks of resilience-based management (RBM). Students will examine the concept of organizational resilience, its significance in today's unpredictable business landscape, and how it differs from traditional management methods. Topics include: defining resilience in a business context; key components of organizational resilience; resilience vs. risk management; adaptive capacity and organizational agility; and systems thinking and complexity theory. Through case studies and interactive exercises, students will learn to identify potential threats and opportunities, assess organizational vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to enhance resilience across various business functions.
