Description

This course examines the intricate relationship between sports and international politics. Students will explore how sports events serve as a platform for diplomacy, nationalism, and soft power. Through case studies and analyses, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the political dimensions of international sports, including the role of mega-events like the Olympics and the World Cup. A Study Abroad fee is assessed for this course.
