Description
This course focuses on the contributions of a single author, how this figure influenced culture and was influenced by culture, and how this personality left an indelible media impression upon other authors. Examples include writers such as James Baldwin, J. R. R. Tolkien, Walt Whitman, Rhoda Broughton, Ernest Hemingway, Daphne du Maurier, and Guillermo del Toro. Students may take this course more than once as long as the subject focus differs each time.
