Description
This course will focus on providing pre-service teachers with the ability to utilize literacy assessment and evaluation tools to plan and evaluate effective reading and writing instruction based on the science of reading. Teacher candidates will be able to analyze assessment data to develop appropriate literacy interventions for all children including learners with diverse backgrounds, dual languages, or exceptionalities in early childhood and elementary settings.
