Dance Production provides practical training in the skills needed to manage a dance production. In addition to developing performance skills, students experience technical production skills in areas such as lighting, sound, backstage crew, and front-of-house support. Course concentration will be on the production of the Faculty & Friends, Spring Choreography, and Capstone Showcases. This course also teaches leadership skills applicable to the dance profession and beyond by enabling students to develop and demonstrate confidence and competency through collaborating in the theatre and across campus. May be taken twice for credit.
