Description

This course serves as a non-majors chemistry course which offers an introduction to the principles of chemistry and how they relate to real life. A survey of chemistry topics will be covered through this course and include but are not limited to, measurements and calculations, atomic theory, chemical bonding, acids and bases and states of matter. This course will attempt to illustrate how these topics relate to the area of forensic science. Students are expected to develop their understanding of chmistry through lectures, attendance of weekly lecture and laboratory sessions, reading the assigned text, and through completion of weekly homework assignments.
