Description
This course seeks to introduce students to a more specialized area of study focusing on meetings, conventions, exhibitions, and events planning and production. In-depth analysis of event industry will provide students with an understanding of managerial strategies while embracing a functional and operational context which is transferable to every sector of the hospitality industry. The course serves as a comprehensive overview of the Meetings, Events, Exhibitions and Conventions (MEEC). Students will achieve a macro working knowledge of MEEC industry principles, practices, operations and management.
